Hotel Policies

The Hudspeth House is a historic property that specializes in gracious hospitality. Every guest reservation is important to us. When you book your stay, you can count on a warm welcome, an elegant but casual atmosphere, a delicious breakfast, suggestions for area attractions and dining, and innkeepers who live on the premises. In order to ensure a wonderful experience, we have established some basic policies.

Please note additional policies for the specific accommodation you wish to reserve.

Breakfast: Served from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the dining room. Please make us aware of any special dietary needs when making your reservation.

Pets: We love our furry friends, but to keep the B&B comfortable and clean for all of our guests, pets are not allowed inside the B&B. Service animals are permitted, but required documentation must be provided upon request. If a pet is brought inside the B&B without permission, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be added to your room. We’ll be happy to assist you in finding a nearby boarding facility. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Non-Smoking: For the safety and comfort of our guests, we do not allow smoking or candle burning in any of our guest rooms. Courteous smoking is permitted outside in designated areas only.

Reservations & rates

Confirming a reservation: A $100 deposit per room, per night is required to confirm your reservation. This $100 is part of the total cost of your room and is not an additional charge. The deposit will be applied toward your room balance. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Please note that our corporate name is La Tienda De Rosa, LLC. This name may appear on your credit card statement.

Rates: Rates are for single or double occupancy. We can accommodate a third person in the Eagle’s Nest for an additional $50 per night. Our accommodations are suitable for children, ages 10 and older. All rates are subject to a 13% lodging tax.

Check-in: Guests are welcome to check in by 3 P.M. Guests arriving later please call 1-970-769-7172 for check-in information.

Check-out: 11:00 a.m.

Parking

We have on-site parking. However, when we are at full capacity, our small lot doesn’t allow for all guest vehicles. You are welcome to park on the street in front of the inn or in a parking lot across the street.

Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation Policy: We understand plans can change! Please cancel by phone at least 48 hours before arrival to receive your $100 deposit back. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival will forfeit the deposit. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will not receive a refund and will be responsible for the remaining reservation balance.
