"FRIENDLY HOSTS / FABULOUS HOUSE – We enjoy B&Bs in general. Really appreciate getting to experience historic homes. Hudspeth House is a great place with a lot of charm. The room was comfortable and functional. Breakfast and the extra treats were all delicious. The hosts have really considered what their guests will need/want and have it set up well. Great things to see in Canyon. Hope we can return soon.”

"Perfect Place for a weekend Getaway. What a wonderful time we had in Canyon. Our stay at the Hudspeth House was great! Very clean and the Chloe Room was spacious and perfect for a weekend of rest and taking a break from the rat race. The Harrison family are excellent hosts - available if you need something but never intrusive. The house is a perfect distance from the square. About three blocks, which is a needed walk after a large meal. The chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy is excellent at Back 40 and we had delicious food and very good service at Joe Taco. Canyon has been fun.”

“We were lucky that a friend recommended this wonderful place and I’m sorry we were there for only one night. The owners have had it for nine months and the love and care shows. We were in the Chloe room which was nicely sized and beautifully furnished. Bernadette and Lyndon and daughter Jamie are very warm and welcoming and Bernadette loves to cook and bake and we enjoyed the results of that at breakfast. We walked to dinner just three blocks to the town Square where there are several restaurants to choose from and we were at a very fine Thai restaurant. Highly recommended especially if you’re on your way to Palo Duro Canyon which is stunning.”

ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN CANYON Overnight in the Georgia O'Keefe Room...👍👍 Warm Hospitality from arrival to departure is FIRST CLASS...
Cannot design a BnB stay any better...
3 block walk to Town Square and good dinner choices
But B'fast is a must do in the Hudspeth House.
Yes...we would & will do it again.”

"FAMILY OWNED B&B WITH SOUL – Very nice people run this. And it's a great historical respite from Amarillo. Only 20 minutes away. Loved the historical house. The couple that runs it takes great pride in the breakfast and the craftsmanship of the 100 plus year old house. We had a suite with a huge comfy bed and all the amenities. It's a good waypoint when you have to go through Amarillo and stop but don't want those tacky motels in Amarillo. Canyon is just down the road. We'd go back again.
